A man who claimed that he and his wife were the victims of a home invasion admitted to stabbing the woman to death as a result of financial difficulties.
Damion told investigators he staged the home to look as if a man invaded the property. He apparently stabbed himself to make it look as if he was also attacked.Two sons of the couple, ages 7 and 9, are in custody of their aunt, who is the sister of Damion.Damion Faulkner has been charged with murder and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday. Bond for Faulkner has been set at $50,000.
I feel so sorry for the kids. This is a pis poor act of insanity. Now his life and the kids' lives are even more a mess. Financial problems come and go so it isn't worth taking a life for.
